I recently bought a new computer and I want to share my DSL internet connection. I now that I need a router, but there are many variety of them. Im planning to put my new ocmputer in the other room so I need a wireless router, but do I need anything else besides the router, and specifecly what type of router do i need?

Just a router, ask at a computer shop how good it needs to be,
check that the router has a strong enough signal to reach the computer.
And don't forget to make it a secured wireless network so you don't have other people logging on to it..

A wireless router and a wireless connection/card on your computers. You connect the wireless router to the DSL modem with a Ethernet cable (check the modem users manual). Then the wireless router talks to the modem for the computers that connect to it. For the most part any router will be ok...but check the DSL modem manual to see.

Easy, u want to get a Wireless router but besides that u need a wireless card for your Computer, if its a Notebook you can get a nifty lil USB wireless adapter and if its a Desktop u need a wireless card

u need a "Adsl" router
"Linksys wireless router its exp but strong signals"
or u can use ur computer as a router after installing isa
enableing routing and using 2 network cards
