I am having a Halloween party for my daughter and some of her cousins they are aged 4yrs-12yrs so I need some age appropriate movies, something with no sex scenes, and no bad language. I'm thinking something along the lines of Ernest scared stupid or Hocus Pocus. Anybody know any other ones that would be good? thanks

well, it has been a while Since I seen It so, I'd view it myself first but it's a old Disney Movie Called Boogedy Boogedy Boo. There is also a Bride of Boogedy. They aren't the Easiest movies to find but some of my favorites from my Childhood.

How About the Halloweentown Movies? There are 3 of them. They are Pretty good and I think Kid Friendly with some rather unusual character's that live in that town, Halloweentown that is.

If I think of any more I'll post them too.

Child of Glass, would be another Good one. Yes, I Agree With Casper and Casper meets wendy. Which my Local Wal-mart has on sale right now. Not Sure IF others do or not but I know mine does, so you could always check. What About Sabrinia the Teenage Witch? There are the Movies and the TV Show. It starts agian tomorrow on abc Family so if nothing else you might think about taping some of those. It comes on at 4/3 cst I believe.

"SPACED INVADERS" is a good one. While I am sure its age apropriate - PLEASE check the rating just in case. It ranks up there with Ernest Scared Stupid and Hocus Pocus ..., in my humble opinion.

Cute little Martians (no cartoons) plan to invade Earth. Lots of humor, no blood, no sex, no vulgar imagery. It wouldnt win any awards but a good one for kids non the less.

Halloween Town number 1,2,3,or 4. Very age approperate, I even enjoy them. You can find them on the Disney channel. In fact one of the Halloween Towns is playing on Oct. 2nd, sorry I forgot what time.

You might consider this one : the Nightmare before Christmas. Its Tim Burton, the same guy who directed the Corpse Bride.

Its an interesting flick, perhaps a little dark, buts its a decent halloween/christmas movie.
