His name is Matteo Brighi: he had a surgery in his cheekbone since August (before the beginning of the Serie A) and since then he plays with a special customized protective mask, which is very light (made with strong carbon) and it is colored with his Team's colors (Yellow & blue)
Many people noticed Brighi because he scored against Inter Milan last week (the game was televised in USA too) and in today's game with Palermo.
He is an excellent midfielder (25 years old) who has already a good experience in Serie A (he previously played for Bologna and Brescia)

He actually has a rare phobia called scubaphobia. He thinks the world is going to flood at any moment. Weird huh?
