I mean really... Do no students not know what a search engine is? And you can't do a citation for YA! anyway... It's a bad place to come for answers, since alot of people (such as me) like to bullsh*t these kids who can't use a calculator or Google... Anyone else agree?

I totally agree. But I'm also one of those that will try to answer some questions for them. I mean, I'll answer a math question, showing them the steps. But you want someone to write a poem for you? OH MY! BITE ME!

HAhahaha

Please help me to write 50 sentences about my belly button.
What is the main theme of the movie On Golden Pond?

Shesh.... Could it be any more obvious?

Anyway, I need to get back to writing this 15 page term paper for this kid in homework help. BYE!

I love the ones who put off a book report until Sunday night, then want someone to do it for them.

We only THOUGHT our educational system was going down the toilet. These are the people who are going to get a job (they after all, do have the grades), and are going to be able to do absolutely NOTHING, zip, zilch, nada, without someone else helping them out. The worst kind of workers.

There are some (few) questions students ask that I think are legit, and I am happy to answer those, but the ones that obviously have taken sloth and laziness to a new high are gonna be in real trouble in the real world.

pondering your grammatical errors and spelling errors i might say that Homework is a few thing you prefer. You get one probability at a solid education and there's a lot to cram in for a comparatively jiffy that homework is mandatory. As a former college lecturer i can assure you that putting, making waiting and staining homework is rather time eating. the alternative is yours. study little and advance up dumb, get a ineffective end activity or be unemployed and residing off reward with little amusement and few friends or become knowledgeable, get a solid activity, a chuffed life with a great kin, homestead, motor vehicle and a great style of pursuits. errors: Its would desire to be it rather is There would desire to be their Peaces would desire to be products The grammar and punctuation i will circulate away to you.

i agree completely. I do my best to not provide the answer. For example I will not give the value such as "x = 123" if it is a math or physics/science problem. I will not select the answer from multiple choice questions.
I try to do my best to provide information that the asker can use to arrive at the correct answer.

And, gamelli2, who you callin grasshopper. Notice your empty hand, I got a pebble in mine :P

Why do you waste your time posting this nonsense? Just answer the questions or don't. I don't answer the ones looking for things they should be able to find themselves unless there is something that is of interest to me.

And no, they don't know how to look up things on the Internet. That's why they are asking questions here. As long as they make some attempt to post a readable question (not always a sure thing) I'll give them a break.

Either help the kids or don't.

ah grasshopper
while your rightous indignation is well deserved, let us ponder the mystic beyond...and contemplate the unfortunate students that do not do their own homework...
when it is time for a formal evaluation....a test, so to speak
their basic lack of knowledge will be self evident

so , grasshopper, do you not see the ultimate irony and subtle workings of justice????
answer all the questions truthfully/fully
....let the student build a false sense of worth. a false sense of their own intelligence
and so be the class fool when they fail their class...even while getting an A on their homework...
such sweet , underhanded revenge...
see grasshopper?????
they will have no one other than themselves to blame...

Yeah, I agree with you. They're either too lazy or unmotivated to do the proper research and expect others to do their homework for them. If a student is really stuck with something, I don't mind helping if I can. But I'm not going to complete their entire assignment for them -- that includes you! (Just kidding -- you sound like a fairly reliable student)....
