They have nothing better to do. That is what happens sometimes when people have too much time on their hands. It is just part of our modern society.

Perhaps conspiracy theories only exist in the gaping holes in the official story put forth.
Do you believe everything you are told? When you are told three things and two don't agree with the third do you even wonder why?
The phrase "conspiracy theory" has acquired a connotation of falsehood as if there has never been a successful conspiracy which is plainly ludicrous.
A more accurate question might be "Why do people believe everything the government tells them."
