It's definitely in Asia... and NOT in the middle east or europe. The last country going east to be counted in the middle east is Iran.. and that's it. If you count afghanistan in the middle-east than you will have to count Pakistan in the middle east as well... which it is not. It's also considered part of the sub-continent like India and pakistan... but again part of Asia.
