im with my bf of 1 1/2 years my situation is very difficult to cope with! i had a one night stand with a guy on jan.13 that would mean if i did get pg from him it woul be due on oct.6 my doctor knows about my situation and he tells me not to worry about it cause i was already pg on or around january 5. (i slept with the other guy one week after i was already pg) and now i am getting scared because i am 3 days overdue and no baby yet!!! tommorow will be oct 2! someone please help me!and tell me that i am just stressing about this!

Hun, relax. It is common for a baby to be overdue by one, sometimes, two weeks. Especially if it is a first baby...he/she will come when they want to.

You are just stressing yourself for no reason. Your baby will come out when it is ready. Take deep breaths and try to stay comftorable and realxed until the baby decides it is time. My little sister was 2 weeks over due...your only 3 days. You will be just fine. Your due date is not an exact science...it can give or take a few days or weeks.

Relax. Full term is anywhere from 37 to 43 weeks pregnant. The doctor's can only give you an estimated due date from your last monthly period. Baby will come out when it's ready. Don't rush it. Could be another couple weeks yet!!

It means that your gonna have a baby any day now, just gotta be patient.. your little one just likes to take his time.. Sometimes a baby can be over due as far a 2 weeks.. you cant freak out about it.. ask your dr. about it, a due date isn't always exact a baby can come early or late, it just depends on when he is ready!! good luck sweetheart!

Try to relax, hard as that is. :) Your baby just isn't quite ready to come out! It's not uncommon to go overdue a bit and your Dr. will monitor you and make sure everything is fine! Chances are that you'll be up to your teeth in diapers by weeks end :).

A due date is just an estimate. It could be off by two weeks in either direction.
Listen to what your doctor is telling you. As long as you've been truthful with him, if he says you're overdue, you're overdue.

Beening over due is completely normal especially for your first baby all my friends have been over due by at least a week!

don't worry it's normal for some babies to be over due specially if it's your first...... now... about what's the doctor told you... they determinate the baby's gestation age so... there is nothing to worry about.. if he said you were pregnant on or around january 5 that;s how it was...... don't put any other idea in your head... believe they stay there and eventually they will drive you crazy!

Babies just come when they are ready. You said your Doctor is monitoring, he may not get concerned until you are a week or more past. Stress can screw things up just try to keep as calm as possible
