Yes I tried it, with chocolate milk as a chaser - once, never tried it again. It tasted just as bad coming up as it did going down. There was a short period of time I felt a body change (not good) before I got sick. I still use a natural sleep aid occasionally and at one time used it for the buzz, it had it's downside too as it comes out in the sweat and smells, not to mention when I'd go to the bath room. There are quite a few natural / legal substances out there but I wouldn't feel right in mentioning them. I will say this, I'm a recovering addict and manage a recovery house. What is the common thing is the experimentation that every one went through and ended up here. What I'd also like to say is be very careful, you'll hear the term "gate-way drug" and it is very true, it can be any drug that claims to alter your mood or mind. If you find yourself going that route don't be afraid to ask for help.

I am ashamed to say, yes. My friends and I used to make nutmeg milkshakes when we were teenagers. If it had any effect, it was very mild. We thought it did at the time, but looking back we probably didn't want to admit to ourselves we had choked down those nasty shakes for nothing.

A college housemate of mine and her friend tried it once. They claimed they felt "langorous" and spent the afternoon draping themselves across various pieces of furniture. I was just impressed they managed to choke down that much nutmeg.

its not worth it! The 20+ grams that have to be consumed plus the side effects aren't worth what the effects it produces. Its all there on erowid, read on.

I had a friend "back in the day" who did and he said it wasn't really worth it. It gave him a pretty upset tummy, I think.

I've heard it can also be dangerous if done wrong.
