depending on when you had sex, how close it was to your period. but the best time is to wait at least 2 weeks

Well, you will most likely be better off waiting until you "think" you're pregnant...missing your period. Usually within 4 weeks of conception you will have enough hormone level to have a good test...urine or blood.
Please note that having unprotected sex is risky. Stay safe and protect yourself unless your in a marriage and have been tested for all STD's.

probably 2 weeks. Why in the world would you dare to have unprotected sex knowing all we know about AIDS!!!! Your a really really stupid girl. Its like playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun. It really makes me sick to my stomach that you people can be so downright reckless with your life. Don't think for a minute that just because you get pregnant this guy is gonna love you and stay by your side.

The first day your period is late, there is also a pregnancy that lets you test 5 days before your period is due, I think it is the ept test, not sure on that.

If you get the right brand from walmart you can tell with in 24 hours.

I'm no expert, but I think you have to wait until you miss the start of your period.
