Rex Grossman is the best I have ever seen play at University of Florida with the possible exception of Danny Weurffel. Grossman is a leader and uncanny player. I was a little iffy on whether he would make it as a pro quarterback because as it goes, some guys who excel in college, flop in the pros. I have watched him grow into the role of a professional quarterback and am quite impressed. I am also impressed with the Bears D and I think if they stay healthy they have a very good shot at making it this year. They are definitely one of the NFL's top teams this year. Key word --- TEAM>.

Well, they just didn't win tonight, they totally dominated. The Bears are the team to beat!
Rex Grossman certainly looks like the real deal as well. He hasn't played that many games because of injuries. If he can stay healthy, the sky will be the limit.
I have been watching football for a long time now, and Tommie Harris may be the fastest Defensive Tackle I have ever seen.
I haven't seen any team play like the Bears so far this year, when you dominate Seatlle, thats great.
Also, The Bears have given up less than 10 points the last 8 regular season games, going back to last year. That hasn't been done since 1930, thats incredible!
Oh, and lastly, going into the game, the Bears were the 4th rated defense, BS. They are the most domintate deefense in football. Sorry Baltimore!

It is still to early to tell. I mean look at last year the Pittsburgh Steelers were 6-5 at one point and look what they did. So to judge a team like the Bears or the Pats or the Colts to win the Superbowl is hard to say because its the NFL. NFL is always hard to pick and that is why there is so many fans because of this reason that any given team could win any given week. The Colts looked awesome going 13-0 and look what they did last year.

I am a Packers fan so this is tough to say, but yes they are a Super Bowl contender, because they have great balance throughout. Offensive line is solid, good TE play, solid RB's and the WR's are consistent. Grossman's play is a byproduct of solid offensive line play, Griese would be winning if he were the QB as well. Obviously the defense is great, they are somewhat suspect against the run, but you can't sit back in the pocket long on their pass rush and obviously the LB's clean up everything, Urlacher gets all the attention, but Briggs is probably a top 10 LB in the NFL.

I have been a believer and Bears fan since I first started watching them in 1985. They are the real deal and will go very far this year. It is definitely there year to shine and kick butt, and they should steamroll past every team they play. They won't lose anymore than 2 games of the regular season. Their defense is unparalled and there offense is on fire! Go Bears!

Hell yea. It was fun to see Da Bears beat the crap out the Seahawks and it wasn't cause Shawn Alexander was injured either. We would had still beat the crap out of them if he was in the game. Rex Grossman, Tommie Harris, Robbie Gould, Alex Brown, Bernard Berian, Desmond Clark and the moose Mushin Muhammad were outstanding this season.

As a packer fan I want to say no, as a NFL fan I must also say no. They are not making belivers because they did this last year. It is Grossman that is making them the best team in the NFC. If he stays healthy then I say the Bears are going to the Super Bowl.

yes, teh bears are one of the top 2 teams in the NFC, probably top 5 in NFL
if grossman can continue to impress, they will be in the super bowl this year.
also, the seahawks you saw today are not the usual seahawks, hasslebeck usually doesnt make as many stupid decisions, and our defence is usually better, too
