Mostly I see just Q. example: The new software will be released 3rd Q 2007. This Q had an increase in profits of 3%.

not as far as I know
however, in financial matters...you will occasionally see
"ttq" when a report/prospectus/financial update is given
"ttq" abbreviates "through this quarter"
