Well now that you are going up to $200, grab the Intel Core 2 Duo E6300, and if you can afford a little extra, bump it up to the E6400. This is not just an opinion, I have looked at prices and benchmarks.

The original X-Box has better hard ware then any of the consoles (i.e. PS2 and GC)
