Liberals have started many wars, the American Revolution, the Civil War, the French Revolution, etc., etc.

We should all of us hate war, because of the pain and death which accompany it. So yes, Liberals do hate war and I would like to think most Conservatives do as well.

However, I will agree that there are times when war is necessary and the 20th Century was certainly filled with such wars.

And of course there are those wars which are just wrong and wrong for so many reasons. Iraq is such a war.

As for wars that don't support my causes...well if the War in Iraq doesn't support Liberal causes(whatever those are)...then whose cause does it serve???

I mean the question is really about the War in Iraq. I wish I could explain why so many Americans feel it is wrong for America and I wish even more to understand why so many other Americans are so fond of it.

Nobody likes war, except those with a warped mind.
Party politics are only in existence to enable uninformed people yo believe that some form of democracy still exists.
Whichever party wins, they have to obey the agenda of the New World Order, or be terminated like JFK.

I have hated war since I was 10 years old and a big fan of Richard Nixon. Plenty of kids from my brothers senior class died or got wounded in Vietnam. I have known many guys over the years that were mentally incapacitated from their Vietnam experience. That war should have taught us that the age of major invasion of other countries was gone. We seemed to learn that lesson for a long and relatively peaceful time. Even George Bush I didn't "invade" Iraq because he knew that the days of occupation were passed. A lesson also learned the hard way by the USSR.

The current occupation will be the last one for the USA because we have come full circle to the 1950's when nuclear war was a seriously contemplated option.

Are you implying that if you don't hate war then something is wrong with you? Anybody who supports this present war which was based on lies is as bad a person as can be imagined. Wake up knucklehead and see the light or just shut up......

War should not benefit one giant industry over the genuine security issues of our foreign policies. This war was for the Oil Barrons ANYONE who says or believes differently is either a liar or living a lie.

Because we don't support a hopeless, bloody, costly war that supports the agenda and pocketbooks of a few, while NOT protecting and benefiting America in any way.
