I want to compile a book of my father-in-laws stories and letters as well as a few photographs. I would like to publish 1 to 5 copies for about $30 each. The photo books don't seem to offer a good layout for lots of text. Is there a photo book that you have used that you think would support text? Or do you know of another way to have this book published?

lulu.com looks good, or the kinkos idea would probably suit you better - a lot you can do on your computer then take it to get copied and bound - or go to your local printing business - they could work something out for you - if it is just for your family - publishing is not the way to go - just make it yourself! Good luck

Create it the way you want it then, send it into a publisher. And if the publisher wants to publish it Good! If not send it in to another Publishing company/.
