...fell off the wall behind me. The glass shattered all over the place. The dog jumped up and peed on the carpet.. The cat ran across the desk and knocked off my drink. It's funny now, but it sure scared the begeebies outta me! Anything like that ever happen to you?

The high school kid who lives next door to me was in his bedroom when lightning hit the downspout just outside his room. It ripped off the spout, punched a hole in the wall, blew a hole in the plaster, and threw a framed glass photo from the wall across the room to where he was sitting. He was bleeding, the wall had a hole you could see through, the floor was covered with glass and plaster, his computer was fried, and smoke started to come from the wires inside the wall that was hit. By the time that the firemen were done chopping holes in the wall to tackle the source of smoke and the police were done blocking off the street, everyone from the entire neighborhood had the begeebies scared out of them.

So let me get this right- you have shattered glass, dog pee, spilled whatever you were drinking and all the begeebies that were scared out of you scattered throughout your digs- Sounds like you need to get busy cleaning up that hole. And no, nothing like that has ever happened to me. If it had, I would smack the dog, shoot the cat and shop vac up the drink- I certainly would not lose my begeebies!

Oh yeah! I had fell asleep on the couch one day and next thing I know the smoke detector goes off, loud as hell for no reason at all! Scared the hell outta me!!!

Yes about a week ago it was raining and out of the blue 4 tiles from the ceiling just fell....Scared me to death. Had to have the roof repaired with wasn't good at all.
