i have a 15mg morphine tab... people in my family are allergic to morphine, would this make me allergic? if i snort 5mg, and it turns out i am allergic what would happen? please, only answer if you are experienced, or know about drugs/medicine. im not stupid and i've done alot of drugs, never opiates though.

It's possible.
Allergic reactions to morphine can range from minor to life-threatening. Most seem to be life threatening.
Taking other people's meds is a bad idea, especially when it's something like morphine, which is very strong and incredibly addictive. (that's why they only give it for short periods of time, or to terminal patients)
don't snort it. or make sure you have someone handy to call 911 in case of anaphylaxis or overdose

If you are proned to have an alergic reaction then you can quit breathing or your heart can stop beating. I thought you said you were smart?

why risk it?
if you need it for medical reasons, then your doc should be able to help you out should you be allergic.

if it wasn't prescribed to you , you aren't supposed to take it . with that being said , people can go into anaphalactic shock , which could kill you if not treated immediately. it just doesn't seem worth it to me to risk your life for a buzz...........
