i own a repair shop,,and id say you have a bad leak in either a hose or the main unit on it,,id look in under it and see where its coming from on it,this will help you better determine where its going to,,it has to be leaking bad enough to leave a spot on the ground you,ll see the difference in it and an oil leak,,you,ll need to get it repaired as soon as you can, it may cause the main steering unit to go bad if it isn't bad already on it,good luck i hope this help,s.

Obviously the idiots that replaced the head gasket buggered the power steering. If your loosing fluid, there's a leak, no question. Next step is to fix the leak by taking it back to the garage and telling them to fix the problem. Another course is just finding out how much power steering lines are at a partstore and replacing them yourself.

Put fluid in when your car is running. Then have someone or you look under the car for leaks. While you or someone else turns the steering wheel back and forth. this way you can see where the leak is. Because you have a leak somewhere. When you hear that noise it can only be two things, Your Power steering Pump is going out. or your power steering is low on fluid which means you have a leak.

You have a leak in the power steering lines someplace.. Look under the car after it has been parked for couple of hours and there should be a spot where the power steering fluid has leaked onto the pavement or concrete.. Then raise the hood and look to see approximately where the leak is in regards to the spot under the car... Should not be big expenditure to get it repaired.

The power steering pump was disconnect to do the head gaskets. They might have not tightened the lines properly or disturbed fragile lines or reservoir. Take it back and don't take any crap for an answer.
