I saw this animal on the movie eight below, it is kinda like a dragon or a seal mixed with an eel, its the animal which bit one of the dogs in the movie, I think that it is typical of the antartic circle.

It was a Leopard Seal. They one in the movie was a computer animated one so it looked pretty fake, that's why you might think it looked a little like a dragon. Leopard Seals are very dangerous and some polar bears are known to stay away from them.

It was a Leopard Seal. The female can reach 1000 lbs. And the male can be up to 800 lbs.

Do you remember the movie? From your description, it might be a sea otter, they do look like a bit like a seal.
