I am late by over a week. My mom asked if my boobs were sore and I said no. She said not to worry about it because all pregnant womens boobs get sore. Is that true or could I actually be pregnant?

Not all pregnancies are the same. I never looked for sore boobs as a symptom. Take a test and you will know the answer.

My boobs never got sore when I was pregnant! So you might wanna just take a home pregnancy test to help with your worries.

You're not necessarily pregnant just 'cause you're late by a week. And also, your mom is generalizing by saying that ALL pregnant women's boobs get sore...everyone is different.
If you're really unsure, the best way to find out is to get a pregnancy test done.
And remember, that there are many things that can affect a period...change in diet, weight loss/gain, stress, etc.

Most pregnant women's breasts do get sore but not all of them and not necessarily when they first get pregnant either. So, not ALL pregnant women's breasts get sore. You could be pregnant if you are late and have been sexually active. You should get a home pregnancy test. They are pretty accurate. It would be bad to be pregnant and not know it, you know?
The home tests aren't THAT expensive and you will know for sure in about 3 minutes.
