That show makes me cry every time. At the start because of the sad circumstances and then tears of joy for the family and tears of awe with the kindness of those who work on the house. Oh see I'm getting misty eyed ............

No I also cry during this show too I just watched tonight's show and the lady had six children The oldest was 11 and the youngest was three weeks old when their father passed away on Christmas Eve Ty Pennington and his crew and the whole town built them a house in less than four days and Ford donationed a Ford Expedition so that the whole family could ride together. I am glad that there are some people out there willing to help others in need because you dont see that happen much anymore

NO. I cry all the time. I live in Las Vegas and don't see people doing for other people that often here. I am a strong believer in karma and you can't help but feel something for the people on the show that just needed a break and some help and that there is someone out there that is giving back to little people that work so hard and struggle yet are always there with a hand or a shoulder to help someone. There is nothing wrong with feeling that in your heart and letting the tears flow.

I really like this show as well. I missed it tonight because I had to work. Normally i have weekends off but had to work at a different Plant so those workers could have a weekend off. I like seeing all the amazing things each worker builds and puts their time into. Last weeks show i really liked the table Ed created for the family in Alaska it was creative.
The way im sure they pay for these homes off are with help from sponsors, people around there city that saw the show and donate money for them and may have jobs.

I only catch this show at the end, when the houses are all completed. I have to know- how do these people pay the taxes on these houses after they are done? The mother tonight had six kids!!! I hope her husband had life insurance, or we will be supporting her family through WIC and food stamps, etc. All in all, this type of show does nothing for me!

I like the show too. I might get a little choked up once in awhile but I don't cry through the whole show. It is nice to see deserving people get a nice home.

Nah, you're not alone. My fiance is usually bawling by the end, and I have found myself a little teary-eyed at some of them. Seeing the look on the family's faces is priceless. Wouldn't it be awesome to have the opportunity to get involved with a project like that?!!

I watched it faithfully the first 2 seasons and bawled the whole show each time. The I got bored. They're all the same. And have you noticed that every living room is the same? BTW Ty Pennington is hot hot hot!

I still wonder how the people are expected to pay for the expense of keeping those houses up after the show stops paying for everything.
