Preference. Compare them and see which has better clock speed, memory. And then if one has every feature better, then get that one. But if one has higher in this and the other has a higher speed, it's up to you. Would you rather has bigger memory, faster speed, etc?

X1600XT is faster, faster core clock and faster memory clock.
