Most popular sport in the world is football. If youre in America its soccer. No sport is even close to achieving what football (soccer) has done in just about every country other than America. There have been countries that have stopped civil wars just to play in the World Cup....if thats not popular then I dont know what is.

soccer exactly - its by www.soccerking.com . the recent soccer wcup had the most viewers all over the world with over 25 billion . where as basketball"s world cup just had 12 billion and cricket"s 15.5 billion .
