Hi, everyone, i need yr help...cant stand my fellow colleague who boasts that her command of the english language is good...She cant pronounce words for nuts like "amalgamate", she wld say "amountgate" and "gauge" as "gush"...uses words like "irregardless" when there is no such word.....and she boasts relentlessly of her own command of the english language, its getting on my nerves......
Besides, she is always boasting on how capable she is and how much she is earning..whilst she tries to spend the minimum for lunch everyday and wears clothes she used to wear 30 yrs ago..
Please help me...

Tell her your English is poor, and pronouce words that will irritate her back.

hahaha, every office has one. how about correcting her relentlessly until she's irritated to bits? anyway, she just wants attention, so maybe just ignore her or look away when she starts boasting?

best way is to treat her as non-existence. when she tries to start a conversation, walk away.
