Create a political campaign ad (a poster, a flier, etc.) for two political parties: one party that supports traditional moral and political philosophies and another party that supports modern moral and political philosophies. For each campaign ad, provide a party name, a campaign slogan, and a written explanation of the party's platform concerning a moral controversy of your choice

A Google search on DNC (Democratic National Committee) produced numerous web sites. I expect the RNC (Republican . . .) would do the same.

Another option--since we are quite close to election time--find out who is running for office in your state/district. Visit their websites and see what their platforms are. That should give you a starting point. Current controversies would include:
Iraq; stem cell research; states rights; abortion; family values (whatever they are); the economy/budget.

I don't know what the teacher had in mind, but you could also make up two parties. Then you could have them do whatever and stand for whatever.

Use some of the previous suggestions and info from class to decide what goes where and create these things!

are you serious? that's a total creativity project applying the political standings that are given in the problem. just make a pretty picture, and describe what each party does, using what was given. i'm sure you have some crayola markers lying around the house somewhere...
