well my best friend has been best friends with this guy 4 like 3 years and she wants 2 take it to the next level by going out with him! she asked him out but she never got an answer and she is starting to feel the pain! i told her tha she should ask him why he wont go out with her and if he gives a good enough answer she might change her mind about how she feels about him! but she wants some more ideas and thats all i got can u help me out?

Has this guy always been single? Maybe he puts a very high value on the friendship and doesn't want to jeopardize it or he could be taking some time to decide if he thinks taking it to the next level would be the best. Maybe he thinks he is not worthy of being good enough for her. Lots of possibilities is to just ask and not leave it to speculation.
