We are all looking for validation in our lives. Either by thinking we know more than our peers or friends, or by some stranger online.
People still have different types of humor, and its funny to read some of the responses. I guess we are living in a more cynical world nowadays. Its tolerated to be snide and crass now, almost even expected.

That some people enjoy their sick little jokes all by themselves! They get off on asking about things like animal torture. It makes you wonder if they have these fantasies and how far they are from acting them out. You know, a Jeffrey Dahmer type?

Mostly it shows that people would rather see individual opinions rather than going to an impersonal site like Google.

For mental health, it seems like most are either too scared, or too desperate to look for real help.

That some people are just narrow-minded, ignorant, bible-thumpers. Others are way hippie-ish.
It seems like peeps from all walks of life post to Y! answers.

Its taught me that the number of Inquisitives far outnumber the answerers...or is it the other way around...alot of people have internet access?

Not much that I really didn't already know....but more exposed to hatred towards others on here...altho I knew that also...But on here most people are looking for VALID answers on most of their questions, and so many people are rude and hateful.....makes me sick.....why and how there is so much crap in this messed up world we live in!!!

its taught me diversity and lots of opinions of other people. points of view i wouldent have normally thought of and other odd things. its a good place. i feel like if i answer a question i could possibly help someone..

It hasn't really taught me anything new...rather, it has only confirmed the fact that the general population is incompetent.
