Just look at yourself and the baby's father and you can guess roughly what color skin your baby will have. It's all in the genes. If you want to have a fair skin child then you should have had sex with a fair skin guy. Unless you are of dark complexion then there really is no hope of having a very fair skin baby. However, there is a slim chance that if both you and the father have "dark" skin that you will have a fair skin child if and only if you both have someone in your family tree that is of fair skin. It all comes back to genetics.

The genetic makeup of the biological father and mother determine the color of the child's skin. The color of the child will be determined by the most dominate color gene of the parents. If one parent is black and the other white, the child will take on the dominant color and could be mulatto light skinned.
Anyway, there is nothing that can be done in the womb. Outside the womb, the mother can marry the biological father before their child is born. That will color your child happy!

Genes will determine the color of the child. The skin at birth may be lighter than the child's ultimate skin color, just as eyes that will ultimately turn brown may look blue at first. Nothing you can do will change the genes of your child.

Do we have something to hide?? No you can't do anything to make the baby's skin lighter... the DNA and genetics are already in order. If you're trying to hide from a white boyfriend/husband that you messed around with a black man or vice versa you're going to be sorely disappointed.

The baby should be the color of the parents. If one parent is dark & the other light the child is somewhere in between.

Melatonin? Why would you want to lighten a babys skin while it was still in the womb except to decieve the father or other family members? It is impossible. The only thing to do is to use bleaching cream or lemon when it gets older. That is pretty sick.

Dont tan eat alot of crackers and drink plenty of fluids!!!
OF COURSE not why would you want to do that. If that was an issue maybe you shouldn't have gotten pregnant by someone who had a color you disapproved of
