I've know him for about 5 years now, (since 2nd grade), I know it probably sounds stupid to think you're in love when your 8 years old! He's like my only real friend that I have right now, and I don't want to mess that up with my feelings. I mean we've dated before but, I don't know if he would want to do that again.

I know you don't want to hear it - but you are not in love with this person.
you love him - he is a friend - you are close like brother and sister.
to be in love is to be reciprocal. that is you and HE are in love.... this won't happen for several years and hopefully not until you are both 18 or 19.
please just relax and don't obsess over him. Concentrate on your schooling and homework and clubs or teams. Have fun and just be you.
Wait until you are 18 to date, it's worth it.

You're still young ya know. I know this sounds crazy but you are at an age where your hormones are going a little nuts right now. (his too) I know htat you think about him all the time and if you even mention it to someone else and it gets back to him, it will be worse. Try to just stay friends for now and never let that die. If it grows it will grow in good time. I think that romances that blossom from youth into adulthood are so romantic, but just let it work itself out in time. You are so young to be dating right now. Just be young, have fun, and never let that friendship die. Tell him only if you can't hold it in anymore, otherwise don't ruin a great thing. I feel if you start this too young, other things will come out of it that you may not be ready for. (even if you think you are)Good luck.

Just let friendship take it's course. If you really enjoy being with him - spend more time with him! Ask him over often, or meet up with him often - but don't chase him. You don't want to push him away. Keep the friendship strong, there are subtle ways to let him know your feelings without coming out and saying it. You have time - don't rush it. You could always come out and ask HIM how he feels about you! You never know...

So you're in 7th grade now and you think you are in love? Maybe you do have feelings but you're a little young to be dating. Think about it more when you're older.

that happened to me i ent out with my best guy friend in the world for about 2 months and we both figured out that being best friends is better then being girlfriend and boyfriend....... we were both ok with it and in the end we still had each other! maybe u should talk 2 him bout it and b like hey u like me more then justa friend if he say no then ya a heart will be hurt but would u rather be hurt or loose him???? didnt think sooo ! soooo goo for it wat u got 2 loose ????

i had a problame to but i dident know if he liked me or not and this was my best answer "If you like him you you should let him know, but it may not end up the way that you are expecting for him to let you know. you probably just dont know how to let him know."
just be open with him, let him know your fealings for him.
