Try to knock the bread off the roof using a basketball , soccer ball. I wish I knew how it got on the roof !

Throw your hamster up there, then when it has devoured it get a cat to eat the hamster, then throw the dog up there to eat the cat, it's a continual cycle which will end up with you having to get a broom and scrape all the caracasses and hose all the bloodshed into the gutter, which will take a ladder to do so!
