There is no way to recover data after a partition delete/drive reformat except possibly a forensic examination.

Absoloutlely!!! -- this is quite easy. There is any # of data recovery programs out there on the net for download. All ur data can be found and rewritten. -- There are two things to consider though. After ur format-- if you put new files there -- they MAY have written over ur old ones -- all the old ones are still there if not written over -- secondly-- when you do this you will need to have another hard drive in ur machine to write ur recovered files to--- If you are not comfortable executing these procedures urself -- I would say -- hustle ur butt to Best Buy and get the famous Geek Squad to do it for you -- It will cost about $129 -- but hey -- a new hard drive and the software you MAY have to buy may cost more --- Good Luck -- and remember -- the more you put on ur same drive the more you are effectively deleting the files you wish to recover.

I would definitely try data recovery software first. I for example use StompSoft's Recover Lost Data and have had great success with its use. I mention software only because recovery by a company can get to be very, very expensive.
