in order to get up to 125Mbps, you need a router with the same (or higher) data rate

btw, wireless is slower than wired...so hooking it up to the wall jack will be faster than going wireless, but based on your questions and knowledge, trust me, you're fine with wireless...you don't need going faster than that

Plugging into the wall will always be faster than wireless. Sure, it says 125Mbits. Most likely, you'll never get above 75Mbits or so on wireless. Wired is just the all around better way to go unless you can't run a cable to the computer.

A instant ethernet bridge could be overkill, their basically actual necessity is in connecting gadgets that are impossible / too high priced to equip with instant (eg. they only have ethernet, or the only Wifi adapter they take is their own extortionately priced one). With USB2, a USB Wifi adapter can carry out safely., regardless of the undeniable fact that if instant is going to be an enduring answer for a working laptop or computing gadget, i could elect to greater healthful a PCI or PCI-E adapter, particularly if i elect to apply different annoying gadgets on USB. If holding a solid Wifi velocity is an issue, then yet another selection to drilling holes for a cable, could be powerline connection - a pair of gadgets, one plugs into between the router LAN ports and the different to the computing gadget ethernet port. This avoids achievable alterations in Wifi overall performance because of congestion / obstruction etc., so could be greater appropriate for gaming except your Wifi proves to be rocksolid. additionally, for Wifi, twin band could be greater appropriate, as though the 5GHz sign reaches, there will be much less congestion than at 2.4GHz

Looks like a good deal! I'm going to buy one now too.

This will work fine with any 802.11 wireless network, even if it is not your own network.

Beautiful
