because their very strong! and cuz their like doing something prideful most of the time and would look like wimps if they showed paim. like when me and my bros pulled back our skin on our thumbs to get blood but didnt show we were in pain!

Your not worthy of watching Naruto if you have no clue as to the answer of this. NINJA Does that ring a bell? We are trained to show no emotion although some of us fail miserably at this simple task. Every ninja has. I have occasionally.

They have a seriously high pain tolerance. I mean, after getting hit with Kunai and beaten to a pulp and breaking limbs on a daily basis, biting yourself just pales in comparison.

They are used to bite their thumbs already, I guess. And those pain wouldnt even hurt them. They got much worse injuries than that.

In reality, it is impossible to bite your finger so that it would bleed. The brain wouldn't allow it.

they are trying to calm themselves down they use pain to cancel out the anger. they aren't focusing on the pain they are focusing on calming down.
