Sleeping with an absolute stranger. At least you know what kind of person your friend is and if there are ramifications from the sex, like pregnancy, you know who to turn to. Of course, you have likely screwed up your friendship anyway.

Each comes with its own set of problems. With a friend, at least you know if you can trust them, but then you complicate your friendship.
A stranger is a total mystery, so they could have STDs they don't tell you about, or be married and have a family, maybe an angry spouse who finds out and vows revenge. Okay, I guess that's worse.

Both. Sex is suppose to be between married people. Too many mind games are involved when you have sex while you are single. Have sex with a friend and it changes the dynamics of the relationship. Have sex with a stranger, and you must have a self-esteem problem of some sort.

Stranger--at least you know about your friend. Hopefully a friend would tell you if the had an STD, if they are really your friend. And who knows, the best relationships start out as friendships.

That is an easy question.....a stranger. A friend is hopefully someone you can trust. Either way, always use safer sex practices.

Sleeping with a friend. You still have to face the friend the next day...whereas a stranger you just say "And you are...? and we did....? Oh good, a condom! Well, see yah."

If the sex is bad . . . friend. If not, stranger (but only b/c you have no way of knowing for sure if they are D/ D free.) If you practiced safe sex and it was good, who cares. ; )
