You see Democrats are not going to fix the problem by "ending" this war. Ending that's a funning word. See we would not be "ending" the war we would be bring the war back home again like it was when Bill Clinton was in office and 9/11.
Do we really want to go back there?
The war will keep going tell the job gets done or someone comes up with a better answer. Why don't people like you're self stop whining about this and come up with some better idea.

Those terrorists were just petrified when we did nothing after the first world trade center bombing,the 2 embassy bombings,the Cole, Marines killed in lebanon,etc. Yea,appeasement really worked well,sure didn't embolden Al-Queda to ram planes into the twin towers,pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania.They were just to afraid of our niceness? After we declared war on Japan after their attack,thousands signed up to become kamakazi pilots. Sure some idiots have joined the terrorists jihad,what would you have us do? Should we all be made to join the muslim faith? let's become like Afghanistan before our liberation from the taliban. All women must cover their faces,can't go to school,and basically have no rights. Democratic traitors are the people who EMBOLDEN them and give them HOPE. They are waiting for their buds the Dems to end the war for them.
There was Jihad before Bush, you know.
They'll say anything to make a Dem scream. Why don't you go hold their hand while they blow up the next building. Then you will already be there for the cameras to explain how it is ALL Bushs'/our govs fault.
And as far as the HOLY WAR THEORY and religious reasons go, I don't give a crap who they pray to, I just don't want to die in an airplane because its been hijacked by terrorists...It is life vs death, NOT religion vs religion....

You don't hear Bin Laden using Republican talking points during his propaganda speeches, do you? The idiots like Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, Murtha, Durbin, etc. are the ones emboldening the enemy. They were attacking us as your beloved BJ Clinton was getting his plumbing worked on in the Oval Office. His lack of response is what emboldened them and gave them hope in their cause. Blowing up empty tents in Afghanistan with expensive cruise missiles really impressed the hell out of the terrorists. At least GWB hit some real targets and inflicted real damage against our enemies. Wake up - these people are going to try to kill us no matter what - appeasement is not the answer.

The terrorist quote is called propaganda. Ever heard of it? Can you tell us exactly what republicans do to embolden the enemy? Should we just hug them 'round the campfire and sing Koombyah? Wonder what the USA would be like now if Al Gore would have won the election in 2000....scary thought. He would have continued the Clinton policy of do nothing. I am a liberal and I say we stop playing around. It is time to stop this so called holy war. That whole region needs a heavy duty anti-psychotic dropped in the water supply. Or better yet, take our most expensive and destructive non nuclear weapons and lay waste to that land. Let the holy war end with a real show of God, our supposed super power capabilities. Give them warning first - stop it - or you can all live like Bin Laden in a nice cold moldy cave.... These people have been killing each other for thousands of years and now are killing us. We must use our power before our power is of no use....

Because Republicans in their desperation for a voter base, embraced Christians radicals and turned politics into a Holy War, contrary to our founding fathers ideals of separation of church and state. Bush traded votes for God and the people fell for it with complete disregard for our Constitution. Our government has created a holy war on the other side of the world and as you say "give(en) them hope in their cause".
A man much smarter that I, by the name of Pascal, once said . "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

A lot of Republicans/Conservatives have a Christian agenda to destroy/suppress Islam so Christian extremists are really no better than the Islamic extremists that murder innocent people. Both sides are murdering innocent people.
Conservative Christians' idea of freedom is freeing the Middle Eastern people of Islam.
