If it is unfurnished you will need some basic items such as:
A bed, chest of drawers, dining table and chairs, a couch and chairs for the living room. A stand for the TV and stereo. Maybe some pictures for the walls. I am assuming you got all the usual stuff for wedding presents such as sheets, towels, cookware, cooking utensils, dishes, plates and silverware.

Hmm...lets see... the essentials of course..furniture, cookware, flatware, dishes...
Cleaning supplies, rugs, towels and toiletries, Raid, decoritive stuff like candles and picture frames, toaster, basics like that...that don't seem important, but when your without...it seems like the world is comming to an end!
