Gabi and Carlos had Xiao-Mei (Their maid) carry their child for them. There was a mix-up at the fertility clinic, and they child born, was African-American. Gabi and Carlos decided not to keep the baby and went ahead with a divorce. I believe if the child came out White or Hispanic, they would have stayed together, but they didn't want to share in the joy of a child that is Black. I was offended.

No they are just selfish. If you remember Gabi was very specific about how the birth mother looked. She needs to grow up. The insemination was screwed up and they are disappointed.

I thought about that too. If the baby had been Hispanic and still the wrong one, they never would have known. Yeah, it was too easy for them to decide against the black baby. But then you gotta realize that Gabi is very picky. Not saying it's right, just saying.

They didn't say and I don't have any real life experience, but I imagine if the child was 100% biologically not theirs (as opposed to 50%), the other couple would legally have rights to him/her. So I'm guessing the other couple got a call and surprise -- they have a baby! So I doubt they had the option to keep the baby.

It wasn't because the baby was black, it was because they realized it wasn't Carlos' baby. The doctor at the clinic implanted the wrong sperm. Why would you think they were racist? Their surrogate is Chinese. Please don't be offended. Watch that part again, I think you missed something.

I think they wanted any way out they could find. I think she just wants the attention not the actual child. She difinately does not need one to take care of.

NO! I THOUGHT CARLOS BOINKED THE NANNY AND THE BABY WAS BELIEVED TO BE HIS AND WHEN IT CAME OUT IT WASNT LOL
