Yes, she did. I think they're both SO mixed up. Meredith deserves McDreamy, because she knew he was married, yet slept with him at the "prom". I think the vet (cute guy, don't remember his name on the show, but he's played by Chris McDonnell) should hook up with the blonde, Izzy. They both lost someone they loved through death, not by cheating spouses. McDreamy and McSleazy deserve each other. And McDreamy's wife should end up alone on a barstool. Just my opinion though!

Yes, when Derek and Addison lived in New York, she cheated on him with Derek's best friend, Mark, who is also a plastic surgeon! Mark was on an episode in season 2 and he tried to hit on Meredith before Derek punched him.
Derek moved here and met Meredith. Meredith had no idea he even had a wife before until the last episode of season 1, when Addison returned and proclaimed to Meredith that was she was "Derek's wife."
By the way, how powerful was that flashback in the first episode this season- when Derek throws Addison out of the house after he finds out about her being with Mark.
If you are new to Grey's Anatomy, you should rent or buy the first two seasons and start from the beginning of the series. It is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McDreamy's wife did cheat on him and he did the same on her. Two wrongs doesn't make a right. They were both in the wrong.

It was before the show started. That is why Derek came to Seattle and left her. However, from watching flashbacks I think she was probably somewhat justified in her actions. He didn't have any time for her and she felt alone & neglected.

I know it's only a show, but I just feel so bad for Finn. I don't think Chris O'Donnell is going to be on all season, but I know Meredith won't pick him and that makes me sad :(
