God didnot create us to live that way. It is man`s evil ways that created that ignorant way to live.

Do gay`s realize how much they are hurting God?

2006-10-02 03:53:04 · update #1

God made us all and he also said multiply by making sons and daughters . How are you going to do that in a gay lifestyle?

You have a very iggnorrant attitude and if your going to insist that God is just as snobbish and stuck up as you than you dont give him much credit. Homosexuality is decided by GOD before birth. It is not evil, just a lifestyle. People "do" a gay lifestyle because theyre gay. Gay is not immoral, its a sexual preferance and you are quite iggnorrant and stupid.

Geez I have argued the counter argument to this for years. The bible says the God created man in his own image. It says that he molded each of us. Therefore, if there is a God then he molded people to be whatever they are. Not only that, but Homosexuality is not a "choice", it is a part of who the person is. Christianity even contradicts itself on the freewill/choice in life point: If there is a God, then he/she/it can either be omnipotent (all knowing as the Bible says) OR we can have free will. If god is all knowing then he/she/it knows our futures from the day we are created. Therefore we cannot choose our own paths (free will) because it has to be on the same exact course as what God has foreseen. On the other hand, if there is free will, then God is not omnipotent. If we have free will then we can change our future, and therefore God would not be able to see what paths we would take. So if God is omnipotent, then Homosexuality is what God wants for the person. If we have free will, then God is not as powerful as the bible states (is not omnipotent) and there is no way of saying that God did not want people to be homosexual because the bible has already lied and therefore, how can you know if ANY of it is true?

IF this does not make sense then sorry. I have been argueing on this matter for much too long and I am tired of argueing it to my usual clarity.

Though I do have to say (because I try to look at all sides of the arguement), the bible states that homosexuality is wrong (I do not agree though). Check Leviticus 18:22 (just had to put that there for any of the people argueing that the bible does not say so)

I can't believe I'm answering this, but...

First of all, God is not a frame of reference for everyone, so hurting God or not hurting God isn't going to matter to some people. That is their right, just as it is your right to make God a priority in your life. Of course, there are many gay people who do worship a God. Chances are, their concept of God does not quite match your concept of God (even if they practice the same religion), and so they do not think they are hurting God. Again, in that case, it's just a different frame of reference. Finally, there are those poor souls whose concept of God does match yours, but whose sexual orientation does not match their concept of God. These people struggle with this question on a very deep spiritual level for a long time. Some struggle forever; some of them find that their sexual orientation has to change; and others find that their concept of God has to change. My guess is that those in the last group have a very rough time of things, and live the "evil," "ignorant" lifestyle because they can't reconcile their natural sexual orientation with their religion. If I were you, I wouldn't spend too much time pondering this question. It sounds as though you are lucky enough not to have to reconcile your sexual orientation with your religion. Thank God for that and don't try to judge others who are not so lucky. Let them decide where they stand with God - in their own time and in their own ways.

Since you say that God did not create us to live that way then if it is a problem with their mental capacity did God also create that? I do not understand people's theory that people wake up one morning and suddenly decide to be gay. Gays are persecuted, put down, beaten, murdered...do you think they chose this lifestyle? If they do then being gay is the least of their problems.

the same reason some people choose a straight lifestyle, it's what makes them happiest, and where they find love and fulfillment in life.
If god doesn't like that... I don't know what to tell you other than apparently god isn't looking out for you.

and I'm not quite sure how you know that it's "wrong" and god "thinks it's wrong".... do you have god's number? maybe you could share it with the rest of the world, eh?

You, or anybody else, knows nothing about what or why God created us for. It is very obvious that freaks of nature are born everyday. God is the creator of everything, therefore, He created gays too. America is supposed to be the "land of the free", so I don't see why gays cannot live the lifestyle they desire as long as they cause no harm to others.

You need to start learning what the lifestyle is like, gay people don't have a choice to be gay, its not like an off and on switch to where you can turn it off! Get a life and stop preaching this crap here.

That's a very narrow-minded point of view, and to believe it, you must be new to the human incarnation. Welcome.

Some believe that souls reincarnate as they choose. A soul that formerly incarnated as a woman may choose to incarnate as a man. She accustomed to sleeping with men and is afraid to change in this lifetime. Perhaps in her next lifetime, her spiritual self will evolve and sleep with women. And it goes the other way, too.

Ever think that you don't really know what God really wants for us? Remember, the Bible is a translation from another language. The translators often write what they want others to believe.

Perhaps, however if you will surf the www, crack a book or two, read the newspapers, listen to the news you'll find that our over populated world is one that is very lonely, communication between the sexes has broken down, marriage is dieing at 63% divorce rate, and ppl are becoming cold.
Thus it is society who has isolated, ostracized, ignored the lonely
that has a part in the creation of alternative lifestyles.
People need compassion & passion, its required like h2o,and ozygen.

Hang on one sweet little second.

First off, what exactly is a "Gay lifestyle?" Are there gay cars, gay houses or gay clothes?

Secondly: God most certainly did create us to live as He has seen fit. He has created every race, every ability, every body type. every eye color, every person's handedness, every persons hair color, their likes and dislikes....and, just incase you weren't paying attention...every sexuality.

It's not something anyone chooses.

What's ignorant is your hateful words, your need to be mean spirited and ugly to people you know nothing about. Ignorance has created your apatite for hate.

Now, tell me, what about hate is God like? What about hate is "Christian?"

Here's something your ignorance has done...it's made you conveniently FORGET Jesus' ONLY commandment: "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF!"

That's it, His only one, pretty darned simple to remember.

So forget your hate, forget your ignorance, forget your ugly spirit and follow Jesus' commandment to all of us. LOVE
LOVE
LOVE
LOVE
LOVE
LOVE
LOVE
LOVE

and when you're done loving...

LOVE SOME MORE!!

I remind you of this out of LOVE :)

Who said there was a GOD?

Gay people are BORN gay... it's not like they made a conscious decision to become gay...

Plus, there is homosexuality in other species too.
