absolutely not, go ahead and invite him to the party, he's a friend and there ain't nothing desperate about inviting friends along to a party, i mean they are what make the party. Anyways, i say invite him. And you never know but he may of been shy towards your friend, maybe you should try asking him yourself but perhaps not too soon hey, wait a little while before you ask him or he'll feel pressured. :-) best of luck with the party!!!!

its a halloween party there is nothing desperate about it as long as you would ask him as if everything is normal, and act normal dont let him see that you still have feelings for him ,and let him know you get the point
its actually cool of you to invite him
its not a desperate thing to do

No not at all, it will give him a chance to get to know you and maybe even change his mind about going out. At the very worst you will wind up with a new friend.

Yes he said no earlier. What makes you think he has changed his mind,if you keep after him he will think you are a pest

no, you should invite him, but DON'T think of it as an opportunity to state your case to him. That would be desperate.

Be careful. He might decide he could use your crush to your disadvantage.
