A method commonly referred to by the psychiatric denizens of most undersea sanitariums as "Neptune's Trident" is employed. This involves a three-pronged approach to the therapy through the use of a lengthy copper skewer driven through the anus and out the mouth. The surrounding water is pumped from the confinement chamber after which the charged current of the hapless creature is drained away into the surrounding water. The electric eel, no longer being electrified, succumbs to the effects of "no electricity" and experiences the benefits of "Negative-electro"-shock therapy.

Depends on the size of the eel. Largest ones can emit up to 650 volts.......therefore, if the disturbed eel is full grown, you may need to up the voltage to a minimum of 675 volts to counteract the eels own voltage should yu wish to obtain the end result!

No they don't feel a thing ! Thats how you catch them, you stick a lightning rod into the water and when it gets hit all the eels come right up to the top of the water and you scoop them up with a net. They taste so good !
