Don't wait longer then 2 months! I did when I wanted a job I really liked but they never got back to me. I went many months without money, waiting for them to call but they never did!

If you have been offered a job and you are truly interested in it I would wait until the next morning just to talk it over with the family and weigh your options.
I wouldn't wait too long because if they don't hear from you they might take it as a sign that you a not interested. Some employers will call you back and ask before moving on to the next candidate. Some won't.

Hi Ryan, I would recommend that when an employer gives you a job offer that you ask if you could get back to them within 48 hours with your decision (or two business days). That gives you some time to think it over but doesn't keep them on the hook too long. If you ask for more than 48 hours (unless you have an extremely valid reason) may give them a reason to look at their 2nd choice for the position instead of you.
But make sure you follow up by no later than what you asked for. If you wait longer than that, they may turn around and think you are lacking in folllow-through skills.

You should give your answer within two days. There is a lot of competition and if you wait too long the post will go to someone else.

it really depends, if it is ur dream job you should wait for as long as it takes. while you are waiting you should try and impress your boss somehow but if it is just a job that is in a good area and has good pay... um don't bother.

Its a good idea to accept an offer for a good job as soon as the offer is made.

Don't wait at all. There are too many people chasing too few jobs. If it's offered and you want it, don't delay.
