I am interested in how horoscope signs expose ones' personality, and so I wanted to know which may represent these three traits?

Virgos are supposed to be the most critical and I think my hubbie would agree since I am one.

Scorpio is the worst. They are the most conniving of all the signs...and prefer to do everything behind one's back...which makes it worse. They can be very backstabbing, depending on the circumstance. They are also the most intense so when they plot something it is usually pretty bad if they dislike/have something against you.
In general I wouldn't say it comes down to a certain sign, but how you are raised...
One sign that may be backstabbing is Sagittarius (depending on the person) because Sag likes to make everyone happy, and they will do their best to accomplish this.

All signs have their bad apples.
Just based on Sun signs, you cannot tell if a person is expressing the qualities of his / her planets in a negative or positive way.
A Sagittarian Sun person (who is usually considered honest and outgoing) may have an afflicted, malefic planet in one of the adjacent signs of Scorpio or Capricorn. If they do, they definitely won't be nice to know.
It's just too shallow to judge people only by their Sun signs.
I mean, I certainly wouldn't want to have for a friend, someone who thinks in this way.

I have a great dealing and i would have to say virgo's could be the most critical and coniving ( i am not sure about back stabbing b/c i have seen loyalty from them but they have potential)

I think Pisces fits the desciption you describe to clearly, I've had experience with male & female and its there. They also just love to play head games.

air elements are mostly exposed. mainly libra and gemini. well all are not like that but most air elements are free so no one has control over them. so they have these type of attitudes

I agree, its not Sagittarius, because (giggle) we are honest to a fault, we suffer from foot in mouth disease. We WILL tell the darn truth if kills us. Well.....at least I am. (smile) I hope some serious astrologers answer this one.
