I finally feel recovered from the work week and its time to go back. It bites. I wish we had a 2 day work week and a 5 day week end. Don't you?

Phone and say you have anal glaucoma. You can't see your butt going in to work. :)

I don't technically have a job I guess, but I do run a no kill rescue shelter. I have over 50 dogs and cats to feed, clean up after, walk, bathe, etc. I have to take 4 of them to the vet tomorrow. Fortunately I love being with the animals, knowing that I saved their lives is the greatest feeling.

If it would pay the bills I would certainly go with that. Maybe if we all work together to create a positive work environment we wouldn't feel this way about our jobs. I know that at my job, it is not the work that makes me hate being there, it is usually my co-workers. And I do waste my two days off recooperating from their evil ways. I think I could use some advice about this myself.

Absolutely. I am actually, as I type even, thinking about how to get out of work tomorrow. I don't like lying, but unless something serious comes up between now and tomorrow morning.......I AM JUST GOING TO HAVE TO LIE!

Work is very important in the world, work keeps most of us off the streets and keeps us active, plus work is important if you want to provide for yourself you need to work and EARN money to provide for your personal needs. I know it can be stressful at times but you have to endure and at the end of the day you will be glad you did.

Yes I do... it's horrible. I work in a warehouse and starting at 7:00a.m. I'm moving crap around. I wish it would all just stop.

I also have to count things. Do you know how hard it is to concentrate on counting when you are tired? Not very fun.

I don't. In fact, I won't go tomorrow. I am in favor of a 4 day work week, (10 hr. x 4). 40 hr/wk is PLENTY.

^5 I'd even be okay with a 4-day 40-hour week, but my boss doesn't seem to be too interested in such a dea.
