We have downloaded loads of songs for my 12 year olds mp3 player,but what we do is uninstall it after we have used it.

Limewire is pretty good with protecting againt viruses. Bearshare used to be bad, but the new version doesn't, but now you have to pay to burn the music or put it on MP3 player, but it's cool. Limewire usually gives a warning if you're about to download a virus file. Just don't download files that havve abnormal sizes.

No I have been downloading from LM for years. But you should always scan your files B4 U put them on CDR or DVD .

some times it depends on what you download you should always run a scan after downloading a bunch of things:)

it can, but normally no. as long as you have a good virus detector, then your fine. I use it all the time. and i haven't gotten anything from it

hell yeah. bearshare doesn't but its more confusing to use
