We have a serious crow infestation here for 5-6 months out of the year. Every early morning and ESPECIALLY every evening at dusk they descend upon the trees in our neighborhood by the HUNDREDS, cawwing and cawwing up a horrendous racket!!
All I want to do is to take a wide-dispersal shotgun or better yet, a nice flamethrower to them. If I had my way, I'd have them reduced to a black snowstorm of feathers and a liquid about the consistency and color of red wine.....
So...go with the red wine.

Well, of course white wine is traditional with fowl, but in this case, since crow is wild and likely to be very gamey, I personally would choose a very heavy red wine, or better yet, quite a bit of brandy or cognac, most of it drunk before eating....

It used to be white wine with fish or fowl, red with red meat. But they say today you can have whatever you want and there are no rules. So pick one and enjoy!! I hope the crow is slow-cooked and tender.

White wine is served with fish and poultry (birds), red is for beef and other meats.
Enjoy your crow with a fine white wine... ; )

Always serve whites with crow! I would recommend the Sauvignon blanc.
