yes, we the USA have secret prisons in many locations in the world

That depends on what you call "political prisoners". The issue of POW/MIA from VietNam has not been settled, so there is a very great possibility that there are still prisoners held in North VietNam, but I doubt if this will ever be settled to the satisfaction of everyone involved (both governments, military, families, etc.)

Not to my knowledge. I can't think of any country holding an American prisoner. (If that's what you meant).

i would like to think that we would go and get our boys and girls from harms way. i don't know of any country holding American pow's but with all the secret stuff that goes on who really knows.
