JoJo isnt that bad of a singer, but she is just a puppet. she has 40 year old guys write her music, and all she has to do is sing a song once and then lip-sync from then on.

I do like Jo Jo but don't know a lot of her music. There are a lot of good singers in the other answers too, but my all-time favorite is Cyndi Lauper. I go to as many of her concerts as I can, she is just incredible! She is also just as awesome in person, I've met her three times so far and what a sweetheart! Her last album, "The Body Acoustic," was released last November, and she will release her next one in 2007. Believe me, she just keeps getting better!
