Yes, I was supposed to be dead at the age of 5. I had an intestinal blockage and had 2 surgeries. I was very severe and in the hospital for many months. The hospital called my mom and grandmom at work and told them that I was not going to be around for much longer so my visiting hours were open.

Well, I'm still here and extra healthy!

I guess so....in a way. As a kid everyone told me that I would end up dead with the life that I was leading.....but I'm still here. When I got married everyone said that it wouldn't last........but 12 years later we're still going strong. I guess you could say that I've beaten the odds.

Yep, got married when I was 16. Everyone said it would last at best a year. I was married for 19 years and still would be but my husband turned into a wife beater. When he started to tell me that he really wanted to kill me, I left.
