do you have to take drafting course in highschool in order to be a good electrician and also how would you open your own electrician company thanks for helping.

Yes, it can support you and your family.
No, the drafting course cover some part of electricity, other part can put you to sleep, learning worthless information that you would never use.
Your best bet is go to electrical school to learn some skills. Go to college to learn how to handle business.

no you do not have to take a drafting course but make sure you learn to read blueprints, which isn't that hard. When you become a good enough electrician then you just start out on your own. With a good trade and hard work, it does not take much money up front. Good luck.

My father is an electrician. It is not that hard to become one. In school just do hard work and you will be ok. Usually it takes 1-2 of training to become one.
