I do not think in that instance a man should have to pay child support. If he was just being used for stud.

I am a lesbian and here is my view. If its a planed arrangement between the man and women to get preg then no the man should not have to pay but then he should also have no legal right to the child. If its a matter of having sex her getting preg and then not wanting to be with him thats no different then if a straight women did the same thing its his sperm time for him to be the man and take responsiblity for not using a condom. Personally we wanna have a child and we dont want the man who contributes the sperm in the childs life therefore I would never even name him I would just say some guy I met at a bar and did not catch his name.

The question isn't whether the woman is a lesbian, as someone stated earlier. It's about support of the child. The Courts will decide parental support based on economic factors, to insure that the child's needs can be taken care of to the best of both parents' financial ability. If the woman has custody of the child & the man has the higher income, then the Court can order support to be paid from the man to the woman on behalf of the child.

First off it takes two. He should make sure they use birth control. No I dont think its right to use a guy to get pregnant, then dump him. It should be a mutual agreement before they get pregnant. And a signed one if he only wants to donate sperm and nothing else.
In 99% of the lesbos are exactly that lesbos, no men....so they would get artificially inseminated.

this is a valid point. Sometimes they will even get married and use the guy as a beard to gain acceptance. Women can be users as can men but they pretend that their group does not do that. Problem is that in these cases that the childs interests are paramount. So here's what you do. You tell the court you want custody and find a way to let her know you will drop it if she disappears or better yet actually give the child a better home and get custody.
Maybe we need to have a presexual agreement handy for signature and carry it with you. People do not realize how often this happens.

Child support is not about the mom----its about supporting the kid---weather or not she chooses to be with a woman now or not has nothign to do with it. IT CALLED CHILD SUPPORT for a reason!
on a side note---with the way you talk about the mother of your kid i would have left you for a woman too,

why don't you use your mind instead of your mouth? do your homework and find out just how many gay women have children and then find out how many of them had their child/children before they came out as being gay. for that matter, find out how many of them were raped by the 'respected, straight community and gave birth, they deserve the child support! and........many young female gays are very happy to call themselves 'breeders'. their implanted with male sperm to have children, thereby they don't run the risk of std's, ( sexual transmitted diseases) the medical community protects them, and...ahem, your tax monies pays for it...........(smile).
